Time to start thinking about nominees for 2012 Winter Classic Game this year. Players will be selected per FB 26 rule below. I will need all players names and sizes by 22 October 2012. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! as we need enough time to order jerseys.
FB 26 Following are the guidelines set for the Winter Classic Game:
a. Divisions: Only the Freshman, Junior Varsity, Varsity, and Collegiate divisions are eligible to
b. Coaches: Coaches for the teams that placed first and second place in the regular season
will be assigned to coach the All-Star Classic teams.
c. Player Selection: Teams will consist of a maximum of thirty-four (34) players. The coach of the first place team will select from his team, then from the teams that placed fourth, sixth, eighth, tenth, etc. The coach of the second place team will select from his team, then from the teams that placed second, third, fifth, seventh, ninth, etc. A minimum of four (4) players must be selected from each team and include at least one (1) lineman. No more than ten (10) players may be selected from one team, except in the event more than ten (10) players from one team are required to form the All-Star Classic team due to other teams’ and/or their players’ unwillingness to participate. In the event teams can not send all four players the remaining teams except the 1st and 2nd ranked teams will be eligible to submit one additional player alternating until all roster spots are filled. SYFL Division II Rules, High School Rules, and National Rules will be followed just as in the regular season. Please note that the SYFL minimum play rule will be enforced and all coaches and staff members will be permanently dismissed from the SYFL for any noncompliance.

I need field dates for our playoff rounds as soon as possible!
Playoff dates are as follows;
October 27th 2012 1st round
November 3rd 2012 2nd round
November 10th 2012 CHAMPIONSHIP round

Parents and Coaches,
NSSP will be offering a league wide make-up opportunity for individual kids that missed their original picture date.
There are three locations to choose from:
Monday October 1st, from 5:00 – 5:45
Eagle Canyon Park in Spanish Springs,
Wooster High School
Damonte Ranch High School
I’ve attached an image with all three locations designating where, at each field we will be. I know that practice is important, therefore if you are having practice on this evening, please allow those kids that need a make-up, a little leniency as this will be their last opportunity for a portrait this season. REMINDER ANNUAL CHEER COMPETITION MEETING…
This Sunday September 30, 2012 at The Grand Sierra Resort. Check in begins at 2:00pm with the meeting from 3-5pm. We will be in Carson Room 1 on the mail level near the bowling alley. All extra practice uniforms will be on sale before the meeting. Shirts will be $5.00 and shorts $7.00 please bring cash or check.
